re:home

Goethe Institut

Sponsored by the Goethe Institut, re:home is a For Freedoms exhibition and community action that examines how the broad societal crises of sanctuary city, homelessness, and the flight of the creative class intersect in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about re:home :

There are so many artists, thinkers, creatives and organizations associated with this enterprise, it can’t be fully encapsulated here. Suffice it to say the exhibition considers the role of sanctuary cities, homelessness and the flight of the creative class—and it is part of the larger umbrella of For Freedoms, a nationwide arts initiative to cultivate political engagement and citizenry.
