Hedging the Edge: 1970's

Exit Theatre

A Talk Story production. Take a deep dive into a dirty but glamorous chapter of San Francisco history: the roaring 1970's. A performer with the iconic "Angels of Light"--a sister troupe to the famous "Cockettes"--Randall Denham takes the audience on a rollicking volkswagen ride through the San Francisco underground arts scene.

This is what SF/Arts curator Laura Fraenza had to say about Hedging the Edge: 1970's :

Storytelling as art and entertainment is experiencing a renaissance. With the success of Exit Theatre’s Talk Story, two of this year’s most memorable festival performers are staging a reprise: activist and performance artist Ed Wolf brings back “It’s Hard to Explain,” followed by Randall Denham, a Bay Area theater veteran since 1975, who returns with “Hedging the Edge 1970’s,” his personal history of San Francisco.
