Dahlak Brathwaite created this spoken-word, dream-like musical in which, as narrator, he re-creates the experience of a young black man who’s continually stopped without cause by police and eventually ends up in court and ultimately in a court-ordered drug rehab program. The hour-long work-in-progress, part of A.C.T.’s Artshare program, is directed by Roberta Uno and has a six-member cast.
