Clark Coolidge

Moe's Books/Berkeley

Clark Coolidge reads from Poet (Pressed Wafer) and other works.

This is what SF/Arts curator Evan Karp had to say about Clark Coolidge :

Author of more than 20 books and an influential voice among the American avant-garde since the 1960s, Petaluma-based Clark Coolidge visits Moe’s Books to read from his new 310-page serial poem “Poet.” Inspired by David Meltzer’s “When I Was a Poet,” the book was written between 2014-16 and is dedicated to Meltzer. Coolidge’s writing is at turns deadpan and exuberant; his readings are extraordinary.
