Moby Dick Marathon

San Francisco Maritime Park

More than 100 readers and performers will bring Moby Dick to life.

This is what SF/Arts curator Laura Fraenza had to say about Moby Dick Marathon :

Food trucks and abundant coffee at Aquatic Park will fuel the audience and over 100 voices who plan to participate in the marathon weekend reading of “Moby Dick,” Melville’s magnificent tale of a whale, fate, destiny, race and racism, not to mention madness and obsession. Professionals including Word for Word Performing Arts read aloud alongside anyone who signs up online to read a favorite chapter.
