The Importance of being Earnest

Ninjaz of Drama

Ninjaz of Drama stages Oscar Wilde's comic masterpiece. The cast members are: Federico Edwards (Jack); Lijesh Krishan (Algernon); Chelsea Jennings (Gwendolyn); Greg Gutting (Lady Bracknell); Adrienne Dolan (Cecily); Irina Dianova (Miss Prism); David Richard (Reverend Chasuble); Pam Mangan

This is what SF/Arts curator Jean Schiffman had to say about The Importance of being Earnest :

Oscar Wilde’s ever-popular, 1895 “trivial comedy for serious people” is set in the swinging ’60s of mod London in this Ninjaz production. As is traditional, the imperious Lady Bracknell is played by a man (Greg Gutting here). Wilde’s satirical wit is likely to be as entertaining in this updated setting as in the usual Victorian era setting. Rey Carolino directs.
