The "Made on the Coast" (MotC) Artists' Group, a subcommittee of the Half Moon Bay Beautification Committee (HMBBC), presents its artists for the 6th Annual "Made on the Coast" Locals' Block at the Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival. Highlights include hand-blown glass pumpkins, one-of-a-kind jewelry, leather sandals and belts, handmade quilts, seasonal wreaths, holiday-themed placemats and napkins, panoramic photographs, whimsical sculptures, hand-painted clothing, colorful ceramic vessels, contemporary pop art, giant pumpkins, a haunted barn and more.

This is what SF/Arts curator Laura Fraenza had to say about Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival :

It’s not only our own Bay Area Great Pumpkin Patch, Half Moon Bay is also considered the “Pumpkin Capital of the World.” The Fall harvest and Halloween are observed with events including this mid-October weekend festival filled with four stages of live music, a Haunted Barn, expert pumpkin carving and an enormous display of gigantic champion gourds that line the streets of downtown to the delight of folks of all ages.
