Presenting #GetGandhi - A Seriously Radical Feminist Comedy by award-winning playwright and actor Anne Galjour that focuses on Mahatma Gandh's infamous experiments in brahmacharya, or celibacy.

This is what SF/Arts curator Jean Schiffman has to say about #GetGandhi :

It’s been a while since playwright Anne Galjour premiered one of her plays here. This one, subtitled “A Serious Radical Feminist Comedy,” was inspired by the writings of philosopher and theologian Mary Daly; it’s about the Mahatma’s rather offensive experiments in celibacy, using nubile young women to test his own “purity.” A group of San Francisco feminists aims to out the Indian leader as a sexual abuser. Nancy Carlin directs a cast of local stars.
