Avenue Q

New Conservatory Theatre Center

Everyone's favorite foul mouthed puppets are back at NCTC for the sixth anniversary of the Tony Award-winning Avenue Q. This "smash hit" (Bay Area Reporter) won over critics and audiences alike in its previous engagements at NCTC, being declared "a local tradition" by San Francisco Travel.

This is what SF/Arts curator Jean Schiffman has to say about Avenue Q :

This is the sixth year that New Conservatory has produced this Tony Award-winning puppets-and-people musical charmer by Robert Marx, Jeff Lopez and Jeff Whitty. Directed by Jay Manley, it’s about a lonely college grad named Princeton who moves to an untrendy New York City neighborhood where he meets all sorts of eccentric and idiosyncratic humans and humanoids, falls in love and sings songs like “Everyone’s a Little Bit Racist.”
