Go back 150 years and enjoy San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park's Festival of the Sea. The festival features traditional music, sailors' skills demonstrations, small (and large) boats to explore, kids craft stations, and more.
Those who feel the call of the sea know to head to Hyde Street Pier for the Maritime National Historical Park’s festival, where they can live out their Jack Sparrow fantasies: there are tours of historic ships and demonstrations of various sailor skills, from knot-tying to singing sea shanties. Music, crafts and more entertain the young, the old and even the most ardent landlubbers. And it’s all free.
