The ephemeral sculptures in this exhibit include otherworldly organisms by Jason Hackenwerth and Shih Chieh Huang, a forest of cushiony columns by Jimmy Kuehnle, an inflatable insect-eye room from Pneuhaus, and Amanda Parer's monumental humanoid figures peeking around corners.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about Inflatable :

Quite possibly one of the most hotly anticipated exhibitions of the summer, “Inflatable” gives everyone a chance to be a kid and to marvel at wondrous works of great scale and light as air. Curated by Colossal founder and editor-in-chief Christopher Jobson, and spread out across indoor and outdoor galleries, the show offers new perspectives on what contemporary art can be.
