An Eye for Adventure

Sonoma Valley Museum of Art

American novelist Jack London (1876-1916), Sonoma's native son, was also a gifted photographer. This exhibition introduce photographs gathered from London's adventures as a war correspondent and global sailor. Included are views from the Russo-Japanese War, San Francisco's 1906 earthquake and fire, and visits to Hawaii and the South Seas.
