Andrew Schoultz

Hosfelt Gallery

Andrew Schoultz brings his signature street-savvy style to a new body of work that questions the meaning and function of public space and the nature of political discourse. Two monumental sculptures anchor the installation, surrounded by murals painted directly on the walls of the gallery, paintings on panel and paper, and other sculptural objects.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about Andrew Schoultz :

Something of a legend in San Francisco’s street art scene, artist Andrew Schoultz returns to Hofselt Gallery for his second solo exhibition, commanding the vast gallery with new monumental sculpture, paintings, works on paper and site-specific murals. Schoultz’s mark making references William Wiley and M. C. Escher, as well as antique etching and Persian miniature paintings.
