The Train: RFK's Last Journey

San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

This multidisciplinary exhibition will bring together historical and contemporary works by Paul Fusco, Rein Jelle Terpstra and Philippe Parreno to reflect on the 50th anniversary of the journey of Robert F. Kennedy's funeral train from New York to Washington, D.C.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about The Train: RFK's Last Journey :

Three days after the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy, his body was transported by a funeral train from New York City to Washington D.C. This exhibition considers that journey through the distinctly different work of three artists: American photographer and photo journalist Paul Fusco, Dutch artist Rein Jelle Terpstra and French artist Philippe Parreno.
