Joe Amrhein: Post Factual

Brian Gross Fine Art

Presenting an exhibition of new word works by New York artist Joe Amrhein, opening Saturday, November 4, from 4-6pm, with an artist talk at 4:30pm. The exhibition will include seven works created in response to the current political discourse in the United States using Amrhein's signature hand-painted lettering. See also listing for Teo Gonzalez.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about Joe Amrhein: Post Factual :

Whereas Joe Amrheim’s new solo “Post Factual” gives us plenty to contemplate about the present—select text-based works are titled “Kakistocracy,” “Egomaniac” and “Narcissist”—I’ll let you guess who his subject might be—Teo González offers beautifully abstract horizons, comprised of millions of gridded dots, wherein the uncertainty of the future still holds unexpected possibilities.
