Poetry as Sanctuary. Marin Poet Laureate Rebecca Foust and fellow poet Javier Zamora are offering an evening of their poetry reading poems that touch on the theme of Sanctuary. They will also share poems from their most recent books: Foust's Paradise Drive, winner of the 2015 Press 53 Poetry Prize for Poetry and Zamora's, Unaccompanied, out in October from Copper Canyon Press.

Marin Poet Laureate Rebecca Foust and Javier Zamora read poems on the theme of “sanctuary,” as well as selections from their books. Foust is the author of five collections, most recently “Paradise Drive” (winner of the Press 53 Poetry Prize), and Zamora’s anticipated debut “Unaccompanied” is just out from Copper Canyon. Foust’s Poet Laureate project is “Poetry as Sanctuary.”
