Natalie Baszile, author of the Southern debut novel Queen Sugar, will present a reading and conversation with Selena Anderson. This event will take place in Room 225 of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library. Queen Sugar has been adapted for television by writer/director Ava DuVernay and co-produced by Oprah Winfrey. Queen Sugar was named one of the San Francisco Chronicles' Best Books of 2014 and nominated for the NAACP Image Award.
