This is what SF/Arts curator Sura Wood had to say about Mill Valley Film Festival 2017 :

Along with indies and prestige art house films, MVFF offers a trio of music-oriented docs and live performances. This year, they’re screening “Third Mind Blues” about the alchemical collaboration between The Doors’ keyboardist, Ray Manzarek, and slide guitarist, Roy Rogers; “Horn from the Heart: The Paul Butterfield Story,” the story of the great Chicago blues harmonica player; and “The Mad Hannans,” a portrait of a local Irish folk rock band.
