An idea of a boundary

San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery

An idea of a boundary is a group exhibition curated by SFAC Galleries Associate Curator Jackie Im. The show explores the way people negotiate and claim space through the works of ten local and international artists. Opening September 22, 6-8pm

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about An idea of a boundary :

Curated by Jackie Im and featuring works by Mildred Howard, Hannah Ireland and Park McArthur, among several other local and international artists, this group exhibition considers the way people negotiate and claim space—the title is drawn from the opening line of Ursula K Le Guin’s novel “The Dispossessed,” in which a stone line demarcates the boundary between two spaces.
