Get with the Action

San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

Get with the Action: Political Posters from the 1960s to Now. See how graphic design has communicated contemporary issues and given underrepresented groups a larger voice.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about Get with the Action :

This exhibition explores the design of political posters in the United States over the last 50 years, dating from the mid-1960s to present and featuring works ranging in artistry from Sister Corita Kent to Bay Area-based husband and wife collaborative art duo Dignidad Rebelde. The works focus on the full political spectrum of issues, from war to immigration to environment, and everything in between.
