This evening of neo-benshi performances will showcase film clips rewritten and narrated live by authors from the Bay Area, New York, Los Angeles and Houston. Featuring excerpts from blockbusters such as "The Sound of Music," Mexican feature "Lola La Trailera (Lola the Truck Driver)," animated series "Dora the Explorer," the obscure "The Assassination of Trotsky" and cult classic "Carnival of Souls."
