Information in the Flesh

UC Berkeley Art Museum Pacific Film Archive

Information in the Flesh: Art for Human Rights. This exhibition draws works from BAMPFA's permanent collection that demonstrate how power is articulated and reinforced through the dehumanized body.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about Information in the Flesh :

This timely gem of an exhibition draws on the museum’s extensive collection of politically charged works to consider how power is inscribed on the dehumanized body. It features artwork by a host of historically significant artists working within these themes across the ages, including Fernando Botero, Ana Mendieta, Francisco Goya and Adrian Piper, among others.
