This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about Love or Confusion: Jimi Hendrix in 1967 :

San Francisco is revisiting its youth all summer long with the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love—and institutions across the Bay Area have organized programs to celebrate this legacy. Among its tributes, MoAD offers a photography exhibition focused on the great guitar legend Jimi Hendrix in 1967, beginning with his debut onstage at Monterey Pop with The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
