Architectural Pavilions: Experiments and Artifacts

Museum of Craft and Design

Transforming the Museum of Craft and Design into an immersive architectural environment for six months, the exhibition will demonstrate a range of contemporary pavilion projects, through a site-specific full-scale installation, as well as through material samples, small-scale models and digital renderings. This exhibit addresses architecture's physical and collaborative processes through the presentation of digital and handmade pavilions by seven architectural studios.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about Architectural Pavilions: Experiments and Artifacts :

Last chance to this see this compelling exhibition featuring digital and handmade architectural pavilions designed by Bay Area, national and international architects from eight studios around the world, including Future Cities Lab (SF), Materials & Applications (LA), SITU (NY) and UC Berkeley Architecture students, among others.
