Presenting a temporary installation of 24 telegraph machines designed and fabricated in the artist's studio while attempting to listen to the news. Each machine clicks out a Morse code Twitter feed for some specific news organization. The machines provide a constant real-time source of overlapping, conflicting, unintelligible information.
This temporary installation features a work created by Chris Eckert and John Green in response to the 24 hour/7 days a week news cycle and the constant barrage of media emanating from our various devices. In this piece, 24 telegraph machines hammer out Morse code versions of the Twitter feed for various news organizations, including Fox News, BBC, Al Jazeera and so on.
