Mapping the Uncharted

Richmond Art Center

This exhibition uses physical maps as a point of departure for reconfiguring impressions of geography, politics and visual language.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about Mapping the Uncharted :

These two group exhibitions offer complementary perspectives about charting space through experimental map making and sculptural explorations of architectural space. Featuring works by Guillermo Galindo, Indira Martina Moore, Gay Outlaw, Lucy Puls and Lordy Rodriguez, among others, the works in these two shows call into question our sense of borders and social structures.
