Scratch is a free programming tool from MIT designed especially for kids that can be run on any computer browser -- it offers a powerful learning tool for young coders.  The MADE offers weekly workshops for kids 9 and up to create and complete a simple game in the space of an hour and a half, no previous experience or elaborate math chops needed. Go to https://scratch.mit.edu for more details.
