Pacific Heritage Museum

Pacific Heritage Museum

The Pacific Heritage Museum displays on a rotating basis selected exhibitions based on the broad theme of the artistic, cultural and economic achievements of the peoples of the Pacific Rim. In addition to organizing its own exhibitions, the Museum also presents exhibitions with museums elsewhere in the United States and other countries.

This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about Pacific Heritage Museum :

This sweet gem of a cultural museum is tucked away on a quiet Chinatown side street near a charming pocket park and the excellent dim sum on offer at City View. Housed on the site of the U.S. Branch Mint and Subtreasury and built in the 1800s, this original building features three floors of exhibitions focused on the history of the Mint and the cultural history of the Pacific Rim.
