This is what SF/Arts curator Christian L. Frock had to say about Public Visitor Center :

NASA’s Ames Research Center is a key facility for many of NASA’s missions and projects—the Public Visitor Center offers lots of ways to explore space exploration right in our own backyard, including ongoing exhibits featuring real moon rocks, a shuttle cockpit simulator and the “Living and Working in Space” exhibition, which presents micro-gravity research.
