2012 marks the 100th birthday of the late John Cage, inventor, composer, printmaker and visionary behind “chance operations”; SF Center for the Book pays tribute to his influence with an exhibition that explores the role luck, chaos, and chance play in the creation of book art.

This invitational exhibition showcases new and old work by book artists who use technology (e.g., laser cutting, digital printing, video works) as well as hybrids that combine old and new technologies in innovative and creative ways. |
