The orchestra performs the premiere of “Commedia dell’Arte,” a violin concerto written by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Ellen Taaffe Zwilich. Inspired by classic Commedia characters, the piece shares the bill with Schoenberg’s “Verklärte Nacht” and Peter Heidrich’s “Happy Birthday Variations.”
