| Event Description | Brent Green: Perpetual and furious refrain. This exhibition of the celebrated young artist, animator, and filmmaker Brent Green includes the West Coast premiere of his first full-length film "Gravity Was Everywhere Back Then" on June 16. The film is based on the life of an eccentric Louisville man, Leonard Wood, who built his home into a “healing machine” after his wife was diagnosed with cancer. An installation featuring vignettes from the film and several of Green’s handmade kinetic sculptures built to extend Wood’s narrative will fill BAM/PFA’s MATRIX Gallery. |
