Event Description 60 Years of Beetle Bailey: A Tribute to Mort Walker. Beetle Bailey made his first appearance on Sept. 4, 1950 and today Mort Walker’s comic strip is enjoyed by more than 200 million readers daily in over 1,800 newspapers around the world. This exhibition celebrates this milestone.
